He kidnaps her and forces her to marry him. Luna is very angry. She hates him. She will not let him drink her blood. Carmine is crestfallen and sad. He does everything he can to make her happy.

Luna begins to have warmer feelings toward him. She will only let him drink her blood when his life is in danger. There are very spicy scenes throughout the series.

The lore is very deep and complex. The deep and complex lore shapes the narrative. Luna is threatened by other vampires. Carmine almost dies protecting her. She risks her life to save him because the knows the depth and complexity of the lore.
